Chegaga is considered the true Sahara, with truly pristine, colorful dunes and unique flora and fauna. If you're looking for an unforgettable trip but want to stay and escape the city lights, you'll truly find yourself in the middle of nowhere.
The dune massif is located in the Souss-Massa-Drâa region, about 50 kilometers west of the rural municipality of M'Hamid El Ghizlane, itself about 98 kilometers south of the city of Zagora.
Due to its relative inaccessibility, it's only reachable by 4x4, camelback, or on foot.
BIVOUACS & CAMPS ACCOMMODATIONS
Impossible to consider a trip to the desert without spending at least one night in a bivouac in the heart of the fine sand dunes. Totally disconnected from the world, the luxury bivouacs in the desert offer you a wonderful moment of serenity, in perfect symbiosis with nature. Far from any human concentration, these camps where everything seems so simple, and yet so endearing, will free your mind from the torments of everyday life.
The choice of Bivouacs was made according to several criteria: quality of accommodation, quality of services and above all cleanliness.
All selected Camps have been visited beforehand by our team to check and be sure of maintaining the standards requested by our agency and also by our customers.
