- We are taking a different route to Marrakech. In this way, you will be able to enjoy the magnificent Moroccan landscape even more.
The first day, you will leave Marrakech to head for Ouarzazate. On the way, you will pass by the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, a road that passes through the Middle Atlas at 2260 meters in height.
On the way, you will come across the kabash of Aït-ben-Haddou, an incredible fortified city which dates back over 800 years. This is where films like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven were filmed. You will continue the road to Ouarzazate, where you will have approximately two and a half hours to discover the Kasbah of Taourirt and for lunch (not included).
By taking the "thousand kasbahs" route to Skoura, you will pass through the surprising Valley of Roses to reach the Dades Valley, where you will be accommodated (sometimes we can stay in Skoura).
The second day, after breakfast, we will set off towards the Dades Valley and you will cross the Todra Gorges.
You will then go to Merzouga by crossing the Jorf palm grove (where the best dates in the country are cultivated) and you will have lunch before arriving in Arfoud, a small village known for its fragments of fossils.
Once in Merzouga, we will leave the vehicle to enter the desert by camel until the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal.
In the last day, If there is anything unforgettable in the Erg Chebbi desert, it is the sunrise. After enjoying this unique moment, you will ride on camels to a hotel where you can have a shower and breakfast (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower can take place before the ride. camel).
Then you will take the road to return to Marrakech via the Palm grove of Tafilalet and the village of Rissani (at the origin of the Alauí dynasty). You will cross the Accacia raddiana plateaus and the stone desert to reach Alnif, where you will take a road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range, passing by Tizi N'tfarkhin. You will continue your way through the village of Tinghir and the Dades valley.
We will arrive at Klaat M'Gouna at noon, where you will stop to eat and rest before resuming the road to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas mountains.
