A 5-day excursion to the desert is the best option for all travelers who have some time in Marrakech. During this trip, you will travel through all the places of tourist interest in southern Morocco and enter the Sahara to appreciate its wonderful diversity.

- Departure: pick-up will be from your accommodation or airport in Marrakech
- The return to the starting point
First day: Marrakech - Aït-ben-Haddou – Ouarzazate
You will leave Marrakech in the morning after we have picked you up. We will then take you to Ouarzazate. On the way, you will cross the Atlas passing the incredible Tizi n'Tichka pass, 2,260 meters high.
Shortly after crossing the Atlas, you will take a road to visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet. Passing through many small Berber villages, you will arrive at the kabash of Aït-ben-Haddou, an incredible fortified city which dates back over 800 years. This is where films like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven were filmed.
You will end the tour by heading to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the cinema workshops and where you will spend the first night.

Second day: Ouarzazate - Agdz - The Drâa Valley - Tazzarine - The Mharech gorges (Dakar road)
After breakfast and having visited the Kashah of Taourirt, you will leave in the direction of Zagora, where you will cross the Anti Atlas mountains and pass by the port of Tizi n'Tichka, 2,260 meters high.
You will enter the Drâa Valley by a road where you can appreciate Berber villages and the kasbahs within it. Leaving the villages of N’kob, Tarazine and Alnif behind, you will take another road passing through other remote villages to reach the Gorges of Mharech. Most of these routes are those that are covered during the Dakar Rally.
You will end the day by sleeping in a riad in the middle of nowhere.

Third day: Mharech - Oasis Ramlia - Ouzina dunes - Merzouga
You will continue the Dakar Rally route crossing small lonely villages, you will cross ueds, oases and the Ouzina dunes.
You will continue the day with a visit to the famous village of Khamlia, where you can meet gnaouas, a nomadic tribe descended from African slaves and you can enjoy their surprising folk music.
From Khamlia, you will take the direction of Erg Chebbi, where the highest dunes of Morocco are located. On camels, you will go to a camp located in the middle of these dunes, an hour and a half away. You will sleep in an authentic Berber khaïma.

Fourth day: Merzourga - Rissani - Todra gorges - Dades Valley
After seeing an incredible sunrise in the desert, you will again ride your camels to return to "civilization". We will stop at a hotel so that you can shower and refresh yourself (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower can be taken before the camel ride).
After cooling off, you will take the direction of Rissani, where the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of the Alaoui sultans was born.
You will then take the road towards Arfoud, rich in black stone and marine fossils (if you wish, you can stop in a workshop which exploits them) and you will arrive at the Tafilalet Palmeraie.
You will visit the Todra Gorges and you will arrive at the Dades Valley, where you will spend the night.

Fifth day: The Dades Valley - The Valley of the Roses - Skoura – Marrakech
Leaving the Dades Valley behind you and taking the “thousand kasbahs” route, you will pass by the surprising Valley of Roses, and you will reach the Palmeraie de Skoura, where the most famous kasbah in the region is located. .
