Leaving Marrakech behind you, you will head south towards the High Atlas. On the way, you will cross the mountain range via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, at an altitude of 2260 meters. The mountain and its landscapes are absolutely magnificent. Along the way, you will see different Berber villages and their farms.
Before arriving at Ouarzazate, you will stop at Aït-ben-Haddou, the flagship stops of the excursion. This fortified city is the most famous in Morocco, known to have been the place where films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy were made.
Once in Ouarzazate, you will have free time to eat, explore the city, and visit the Taourirt Kasbah or even venture into the cinema museum to discover why Ouarzazate is known as "Hollywood of Africa".
You will be back in Marrakech in the early evening.
